LIV Golf has shared 2023 rosters for four of its teams, and the announcements confirm two new members of the Saudi-backed league: Sebastian Muñoz and Mito Pereira.

LIV Golf, which features 12 teams throughout their 14-tournament season, will reveal the remaining lineups progressively over the coming days. The first event of the 2023 circuit commences on Feb. 24 in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.

Torque GC—captained by Joaquin Niemann—will feature two of the league's newest members, Muñoz and Pereira, as well as 21-year-old ASU product, David Puig. Muñoz and Pereira were both rumored to have joined the breakaway circuit, but their inclusion in the latest roster announcement marks an official confirmation of their membership.

Muñoz is currently ranked 96th in the Official World Golf Ranking, while Pereira is ranked 46th. Pereira most notably finished in a tie for third place at the 2022 PGA Championship, after he double bogeyed the 72nd hole to lose the solo lead. Aside from Niemann, the Torque GC lineup features completely new faces.

LIV's 2022 team champions, 4 Aces GC, captained by Dustin Johnson, will no longer feature Talor Gooch. He has been replaced by Peter Uihlein, with Pat Perez and Patrick Reed returning to round out the lineup.

The Majesticks announced a 2023 roster of Henrik Stenson, Ian Poulter, Lee Westwood and Sam Horsfield. Stenson, Poulter and Westwood will share captain duties.

Lastly, Smash GC’s lineup includes a new face: former Oklahoma State star Matthew Wolff. Captained by Brooks Koepka, the team will also include Koepka’s brother, Chase, and Jason Kokrak.

The Saudi-backed league also retired two team names ahead of the 2023 season: Niblicks GC and Punch GC have been replaced by Ripper GC and Rangegoats GC.

In 2023, LIV Golf’s tournaments will be broadcasted on the CW Network and its affiliates as a part of a new broadcast partnership.
