If you’ve ever watched Jordan Spieth play a competitive round of golf then you know there are going to be some fun ups and there are going to be some really sad downs. It’s just how it goes for the three-time major champion. 

That’s how it went during Thursday's first round of the Masters. Spieth got off to a very good start but then early in the back nine things took a turn for the worse when he put the ball in the water on the par-4 11th hole and on the par-5 13th hole.

He dropped three strokes in those two holes and fell down the leaderboard while doing so. 

His longtime caddie, Michael Greller, had the best reaction after the shot on 13: 

It's like he had that ball ready to go before Spieth even hit the shot. 

Spieth later got two of those strokes back with birdies 15 and 16, because of course.
