AUGUSTA, Ga. – Day 1 at the Masters is in the books, and after weeks of buildup (or months, really) the tournament got off to a fast start with Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka and Viktor Hovland firing matching 65s to share the lead.
Here’s everything you need to know from Day 1 at the Masters.
Tiger Woods struggled to a 2-over 74 and will battle on Friday to make the weekend cut. Woods had some nice moments but struggled mightily on the greens. He also appeared uncomfortable at times, though he downplayed his injuries after the round.
