Jon Rahm woke up Monday morning as the Masters champion.

Patrick Cantlay woke up Monday morning as the Masters villain.

If you watched Sunday’s final round, you might have noticed how slow Cantlay played on the back nine. He’s notorious for being one of the slower players on the PGA Tour, and his turtle-like pace was on full display on the 16th hole when the leaders had to wait on the tee for what felt like forever while Cantlay strolled around and hit his three putts.

After the round, Brooks Koepka didn’t shy away from ripping Cantlay’s group for playing dreadfully slow.

This video from the 13th hole sure makes it seem as if Cantlay’s playing partner, Viktor Hovland, also became annoyed with the pace of play, because he hit this shot before Cantlay even got to the green, which isn’t usually how things go:

Golf fans were not happy with Cantlay.
