The PGA Tour, DP World Tour and LIV Golf made a stunning announcement on Tuesday, as the three tours will be joining forces and unifying men’s professional golf with a merger that left golf fans absolutely stunned.

While Phil Mickelson was really happy about the news, it appeared to catch a lot of PGA Tour players by surprise. Collin Morikawa, a two-time major champion, was one of those players. It seemed like he found out about the news on Twitter, which probably isn’t great for the PGA Tour if that is the case.

Morikawa also had a good joke about the news, referencing how yesterday’s U.S. Open Qualifying was supposed to be golf’s longest day:

What a wild day for men’s golf.
