There are plenty of young talented players on the European golf scene but two stand out in particular, and it won’t take much effort to remember their name(s).

Meet Rasmus and Nicolai Højgaard: A pair of 21-year-old Danish identical twins who are both ranked within the top 150 in the world and compete on the DP World Tour. The twins, who were born in Billund, Denmark, are not only an anomaly in golf, but in sports as a whole.

Remarkably, both of the Højgaard brothers have seen success in their respective professional golf careers, but their hot streaks as of late don’t tend to align. There was one instance in which Rasmus and Nicolai placed first and second: the Danish National Championship’s “10-and-young” category.

In August of 2021, the twins made headlines by winning in consecutive weeks, but the pair have yet to battle it out during a Sunday finish as professionals. In tomorrow’s final round of the Ras Al Khaimah Championship, however, that might change.

As the twins continue to bewilder golf fans with their innate skill, we took a side-by-side look at their profiles, resumes, statistics, and more.
