Charlie Woods, the 14-year-old son of Tiger Woods, helped the Benjamin School capture the Florida High School Athletic Association Class 1A state championship.

Woods, who is a freshman at the Palm Beach private school, shot rounds of 78 and 76 in the tournament earlier this week. Individually, Woods finished tied for 26th, but the five-man Benjamin School men’s golf team won its fourth state title.

Charlie’s golf legend father was a proud spectator for the tournament in the central Florida town of Howey-in-the-Hills this week. When Charlie’s competing, Tiger has been known to be close by. The 15-time major championship winner has served as his son’s caddie in past amateur events outside of high school golf competition.

Although Tiger Woods’s return to competitive golf remains uncertain as he continues his recovery from ankle stabilization surgery earlier this year, it’s clear he’s keeping himself plenty busy tracking Charlie in his budding golf career.
