Tiger Woods Had an All-Time Wholesome Interaction With Young Fan at Genesis Invitational

Woods literally ticked a box on this adorable young fan’s bucket list.

Ask any golf fanatic and they’ll likely agree that meeting Tiger Woods is the ultimate dream. On Saturday at the Genesis Invitational, that wish came true for one young fan, and the interaction was heartwarming to say the least.

The fan in question was a young girl sitting front row in the grandstands behind the 17th green. She held a sign that read: “My bucket list: Get Heart Transplant, Meet Tiger Woods, Play Augusta.”

After just barely missing a birdie opportunity on the reachable par-5, Woods walked by the fan, and according to CBS’s Colt Knost, took the time to check off the second item on her bucket list.

To top off the priceless interaction, Woods left her with the ultimate souvenir: an autographed golf glove.

The broadcast caught the aftermath of the wholesome moment, when Tiger made his way over to the 18th hole—his ninth of the day—and gave the young fan an encouraging high-five.

As the exchange started to go viral, fans began to collectively call for one thing: Get this special fan to Augusta National for the 2023 Masters

Woods, who made the cut on the number at Riviera, got off to a stellar start on Saturday. Two birdies and an eagle in his first ten holes put Woods at 3-under par for the tournament.
