Tony Finau is officially staying on the PGA Tour.

The six-time PGA Tour winner and Full Swing star was rumored to be in talks with LIV Golf this week after his close friend Jon Rahm signed with the Saudi-funded LIV Golf league.

Finau announced his decision on Instagram as a part of his year-end wrap-up post.

“I’m excited for 2024 and looking forward to playing my 10th season on the PGA Tour,” he wrote.

He also added a telling hashtag at the conclusion of the message, “#imnotleaving,” in addition to the inclusion of a cheeky song as the background soundtrack to the post: Funn Club’s “Whoomp! There It Is.”

The rumors surrounding Finau’s name originated from a report by the Spanish golf website Ten Golf. At the Grant Thornton Invitational this past week, SI asked Finau if he had a comment on the speculation, to which he answered, “No, not yet. I haven’t let anything marinate other than playing right now.” The answer caused fans’ suspicions to be raised even further.

However, Finau’s Instagram post put all of that to the side. The fan-favorite is sticking with the PGA Tour.
