Viktor Hovland’s home country of Norway is excited to see the recent successes of the young golfer, to say the least.

This was proven by a video of two Norwegian announcers reacting to Viktor Hovland’s course record, 61 in the final round at the BMW Championship on Sunday.

When Hovland finished his last hole on Sunday, Norwegian announcers Per Haugsrud and Henrik Bjørnstad collectively held their breaths, and then went absolutely wild when Hovland nailed the clinching putt.

“He makes it!” Haugsrud said while hugging Bjørnstad in excitement. “Holy ... I want to scream out the worst words I’ve got! It can’t be possible!”

Bjørnstad admitted he was speechless with Hovland’s win.

The 25-year-old took home the title after shooting a 263, 17-under for the tournament, making for the best winning total ever seen at Olympia Fields Country Club. Hovland also shot a 28 on the back nine on Sunday, which was wild for golf fans to witness.

Hovland’s final score was also the lowest total he’s ever shot in his career and earned him his fifth PGA Tour title heading into this weekend’s Tour Championship.
