They don’t come any more comical or candid than longtime PGA Tour looper Kip Henley, a Southern storyteller with a pretty sharp game of his own. He’s on the bag of Stewart Cink but remembers a brief-but-hilarious stint with Boo Weekley and a volatile-but-successful run with Vijay Singh. Henley also touched upon a few hot-button topics, such as cheating on the PGA Tour (“You see it way more than the fans know”), pace of play (“It’s a non-issue”), the Tour player who got the most out of his talent (“Paul Goydos would have to be up there”) and the difference between a plus-2-handicap amateur and PGA Tour talent (“brain power”).
