Amid a wall-to-wall Euro invasion, American Justin Thomas prevails over England’s Lee Westwood to win the PGA Tour’s premier prize: the Players Championship. “Justin Thomas has been through a great deal over the past few months, and his golf game had suffered,” Mike Purkey said. “Winning this tournament was what cured all ills for him.
