How can eSports, Sneakerhead culture and a 17th century French philosopher shape one’s worldview on how to make golf more welcoming and inclusive for under-represented communities? After listening to this week's Modgolf Podcast with The PGA of America’s Charles Dillahunt you will learn how.

Dillahunt joins us to share how the PGA of America is working to break down barriers to entry for not only playing golf but to participate as a business supplier within the golf industry. “That’s something that I don’t think a lot of people have and if more people took the time to be a mentor, be more than just a manager or a boss. Be a friend and care for people, specifically minorities and under-represented audiences in the business world," he says. "I think that is one of the best ways to break down barriers. Share your knowledge and influence that you’ve gained over 30-plus years, and once the older generation does that, younger people like me are going to be ahead of the game. I believe that will only lead to much more innovation in the game of golf.

"My biggest hope for the golf industry is that it one day grows to be more representative of the population of the world, and that it openly welcomes and serves members of all communities and from all walks of life equally and inclusively," he adds.
