This year the Travelers Championship is back in its usual spot on the calendar, immediately following the U.S. Open. No one has had more success at this event than three-time winner Bubba Watson, but it's surprising that Kevin Streelman is second all time in Travelers career winnings. He of course plays a very different style than Bubba.

Rotowire's Jeff Erickson and Morning Read's Jeff Ritter recap the U.S. Open and then kick around the week ahead. From the big names who have entered, Erickson likes Brooks Koepka, while Ritter leans toward the other half of that rivalry and will be rostering Bryson DeChambeau on his fantasy teams. 

But the "middle tier" is where both hosts say there is a semi-sleeper lurking: Scottie Scheffler, who has played well now for more than a year but remains winless on Tour. He's Ritter's pick to win, and Erickson nearly went that same direction before deciding to take Harris English, fresh off a surprise third-place finish at the U.S. Open.
