How to Set Up for a Side-Saddle Putting Stroke

Want to try side-saddle putting? It all starts with the right stance and posture. In this video, Brittany Bomar takes you through the proper way to settle in and get ready to hit a side-saddle putt on line and at the right pace.

Bomar is a golf professional who has been putting side-saddle since age 10. She is also the co-founder of the Bomar Putting Company, which produces putters engineered specifically for a side-saddle stroke.

BRITTANY BOMAR

Brittany played junior golf in Alaska and qualified for four USGA Pub Links Championships as an Amateur. She went on to play collegiately for the University of Northern Iowa and the University of Hawaii-Manoa. Brittany turned professional at the age of 23. She competed on four Tours around the world including the Canadian Women’s Tour, Ladies European Access Tour and the Nordea Tour, and she spent the majority of her playing career on The Australian Ladies Professional Golf Tour. Brittany currently resides in Spokane, Wash. and is one of the co-founders of Bomar Putting Co. She spends her time running the day-to-day operations for Bomar Putting Co. and also does part-time instruction as one of the teaching professionals at Prairie Falls Golf Club, which is owned by her father Billy Bomar.
