The ‘LIV Three’ Aren’t Walking in Memphis

Per a ruling on Tuesday, three LIV Golfers were held out of the FedExCup playoffs while Cameron Smith seems to have one foot out the door

Three LIV Golfers are not walking in Memphis this week as a federal district judge denied their request for a temporary restraining order to compete in the FedExCup playoffs. The event is absent Talor Gooch, Matt Jones and Hudson Swafford.

One of their (reportedly) soon to be colleagues, Cameron Smith is in the field however and it appeared on Thursday that World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler is done with Smith already.

What has Rory McIlory been up to since his close call at St. Andrews? Nothing, literally. The two-time FedExCup winner said he hadn’t seen the inside of a gym or touched a club in the weeks that followed, a well-deserved break for the face of the PGA Tour.

Finally, it’s that time of year again. Two well known players part ways with their caddies and one of them didn’t even wait until the end of a tournament. More on that in this week’s edition of Up and Down
