Watch: Monday Night Will Soon Be Golf Night, Thanks to Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy reveal plans for their futuristic golf product set to debut in January of 2024, plus more in our weekly recap.

The future is here. Or at least it may be coming in January of 2024. Tiger Woods and Rory McIlory revealed plans to launch a tech-infused golf venture that will pit teams of three PGA Tour stars against each other... in a stadium. If nothing else, the new product promises to be interesting and showcase golf in a (very) different light.

Life inside the ropes is shaping up to be different as well. PGA Tour Commissioner, Jay Monahan informed players of several significant changes being made including the expansion of the Player Impact Program, a dozen elevated events and $5,000 "participation" checks for non-exempt players who miss the cut.

One player who will surely qualify for those elevated events is Will Zalatoris but for the immediate future, he's on the shelf with a bad back. The recent winner was forced to withdraw from this week's Tour Championship and will also miss the Presidents Cup while he's on the mend.

Meanwhile, a 12-year old who only began golfing three years ago is making history at the LPGA's CP Women's Open this week. All that and a little more in this week's edition of Up and Down.
