Watch: The Shortest Offseason in Sports is Over, and Sergio Ruffles Feathers

Just like that the PGA Tour is back less than three weeks after Rory McIlroy wins the FedExCup

The PGA Tour gets its season started one last time in September, with the schedule set to undergo sweeping changes in 2023 that include the end of the wraparound season. For now, the Fortinet Championship is underway with a relatively weak field highlighted by Hideki Matsuyama and defending champion, Max Homa.

Across the pond, Sergio Garcia ruffled feathers with an early departure from the BMW PGA Championship that may end up costing him. Ironically, the shortened format was not to his liking, and after a rough opening round he opted to tailgate in Austin rather than return for round two at Wentworth.

And a Happy Birthday to one PGA Tour player who caught fire over the summer and can't seem to shake the dance sensation of 2008.

All that and a little more in this week's edition of Up and Down.
