Watch: Why You Should Use the Same Amount of Energy on Every Golf Swing

Here's a golf swing drill to help you create a smooth tempo with every club in your bag.

From the sunny shores of Maui, Claude Brousseau, PGA Master Professional and the Director of Instruction at the Maui School of Golf, says the way to master new golf skills to first learn, then train, then perform. One way to perfect a smoother swing speed is to practice swinging 85% with your wedge, then moving straight to 3-wood to groove the same tempo. Alternating the two clubs at the range can help you get accustomed to the new tempo and use it throughout the rest of your bag.
