How to Kill Time During a Rain Delay at 2024 Waste Management Phoenix Open

The weather is continuing to cause havoc at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Here are a few survival tips.

What do you when it start pouring rain at the Waste Management Phoenix Open?

I've been out here most of the week, and I think you have three options:

1. Call it quits for the day and leave.

2. Hide out in the merchanise pavilion.

Or...

3. You ride it out and try and save your seats you lined up for since 5 a.m. because you came all the way down from Canada and you don’t want to miss a second of the action.

With the rain coming down in Scottsdale, along with the wind whipping, and general cold temperatures, I managed to find some excited fans, all the way from Montreal, who weren’t going to let a little rain delay spoil their day. The game play had stopped, but they said “game on”. Their positive spirits and hopeful beliefs that the round would resume kept them rooted in their seats so they could soak in every moment at the 16th hole.
