Arizona High School Football Player Died Of 'Blunt-Force Trauma'

An Arizona high school football player who died after a game was killed by "blunt-force trauma." 

An Arizona high school football player who died after a game was killed by "blunt-force trauma," reports azcentral.com. 

Carlos Sanchez, 16, of Moon Valley High School in Phoenix died after an Oct. 20 game against Cactus High. 

Sanchez was trying to complete a block when he fell to the ground and hit his head. He was taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. 

The Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office listed the death as an accident. 

Moon Valley meets Cactus in the playoffs this Friday.
