Bentley Black, Priceville (Softball)
Went 5-for-6 in two games Friday with a double, three triples and six RBIs, then went 3-for-4 with two more RBIs in two games Saturday to help Priceville to a 4-0 run in the New Hope Tournament.
Chase Cartron, Huntsville (Baseball)
Struck out 10 batters in six innings, allowing just three hits and two walks in a 10-0 win over West Limestone.
Jaylen Drake, James Clemens (Track)
Finished first in the shot put with a 52-3.00 mark in the Friday “Knight” Invitational at Arab High School.
Sam Mitchell, Bob Jones (Baseball)
Struck out eight batters in an 11-4, complete-game win over Cullman and went 3-for-8 over three games with a double and two home runs, including a walk-off, three-run bomb in the eighth inning of a 7-5 win over Buckhorn.
Payton Ousley, Charles Henderson (Track)
Placed first in the Girls’ 100 meter dash (12.79), the 200 meter dash (26.17) and the 400 meter dash (1:03.68) at the Troy Invitational.
Alex Sherman, UMS-Wright (Baseball)
Went seven innings for the complete-game, shutout win over Orange Beach. He walked just one batter and struck out seven, allowing just two hits.
