Alabama freshman phenom Trent Seaborn joins band after Thompson win

The star quarterback showed off his skills on the saxophone following Thompson's win over Chelsea

Trent Seaborn is one of the nation's rising stars in high school football.

He started at quarterback for nationally-ranked Thompson as an eighth grader last year, and he's continued to impress as a freshman for the Alabama powerhouse.

He's also a star on the saxophone.

Following Thompson's 45-0 win over Chelsea (Alabama) on Friday night, Seaborn made his way to the bleachers and joined the school band to celebrate with a song.

Members of the band shared a video to Instagram showing Seaborn playing the saxophone alongside the rest of the band.

Seaborn had an efficient night in Thomspon’s rout of Chelsea, throwing one touchdown on two passes. The Warriors jumped out to a big lead early in the game, leaving Seaborn time to go over his sheet music before joining the band.

Only a freshman, Seaborn has already received college offers from Alabama, Auburn, Oregon, Ole Miss and more.

Entering Friday night's win over Chelsea, the Warriors (4-0) were the No. 1 team in SBLive's Alabama Class 7A computer rankings.
