Navi Bruzon throws four touchdown passes in game delayed due to lightning
CHANDLER, Ariz. — Junior quarterback Navi Bruzon threw four touchdown passes to lead No. 23 Liberty to a 35-7 victory over host Basha on Friday night.
The start of the game was delayed 90 minutes due to lightning and much of it was played in a rain storm. The game was originally scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m. and it finally did at 8:30.
Bruzon completed 17-of-19 passes for 246 yards.
The Lions remained undefeated in their first five games this season and they have outscored their opponents 210-36.
Next up for Liberty will be visiting Brophy College Prep on Friday.
