Congratulations to East Poinsett County softball 2B/3B Kelly Ann Lucas for being voted SBLive’s Arkansas High School Athlete of the Week for April 4-10!

The freshman had 3 hits and drove in 4 runs with a triple and double during a 10-run fourth inning in a 12-3 victory over Jonesboro.

Lucas received 36.37% of the vote, beating out Lonoke Corey's Jaxson Ingle who finished second with 33%. Ashdown's Peyton Williams finished third with 17.49% and Har-Ber's Brooke Beyer finished fourth with 3.72%. There were over 109,000 votes tallied this week!

The freshman pitched a perfect game and struck out 17 in a 6-0 victory over Clinton. His fastball topped 91 mph, and he went 2-for-4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI.

Grayson Wilson, Central Arkansas Christian baseball

The freshman pitched a complete game in a 10-4 victory over Episcopal Collegiate. On the season, he’s 5-0 with 41 strikeouts and 4 walks in 21 innings with a 2.32 earned-run average.

Bradley Launius, Camden Harmony Grove baseball

The senior pitched a complete game and struck out 13 in a 2-1 victory over Rison.

Caleb Johnson, Camden Harmony Grove baseball

The sophomore went 2-for-4 with his fourth home run of the season in a 2-1 victory over Rison.

Hunter Alexander, Bigelow baseball

The senior hit three home runs and had 5 RBI in a 16-1 victory over Marshall.

Mia Smith, Little Rock Christian softball

The junior had 3 grand slams in a doubleheader against Maumelle. Christian won the two games 19-2 and 17-11.

Noah Embrey, Greenwood boys track and field

The junior won the 1,600 (4:30.26) and 3,200 (9:47.33) at the Airedale Relays in Alma.

Brooklyn Nicholson, Russellville girls track and field

The sophomore won the 800 (2:25.96) and 1,600 (5:26.60) at the Airedale Relays in Alma.

LaMario Island, El Dorado boys track and field

The senior won the 110 hurdles (16.39) and 300 hurdles (42.10) at the Joe Reese Memorial Relays in Hot Springs.

DeAndra Burns, El Dorado boys track and field

The junior football star won the long jump (22-6), 400 (50.59) and 200 (22.96) at the Joe Reese Memorial Relays in Hot Springs.

Dylan Dew, Hot Springs Lakeside boys track and field

The senior won the 800 (2:03.99) and 1,600 (4:35.02) at the Joe Reese Memorial Relays in Hot Springs.

Azaria Austin, Little Rock Central girls track and field

The sophomore won the 100 (12.75) and 200 (26.11) at the Joe Reese Memorial Relays in Hot Springs.

Carmin Tolliver, Sylvan Hills girls track and field

The sophomore set a meet record in the triple jump (36-7) at the Joe Reese Memorial Relays in Hot Springs.

Josiah Rainey, Sylvan Hills boys track and field

The freshman won the 200 (22.48) and 400 (51.70) at the Jerry Roberts Memorial Relays in Vilonia.

Maylee Leach, Vilonia girls track and field

The senior won the long jump (14-7 1/2) and triple jump (33-4 1/2) at the Jerry Roberts Memorial Relays in Vilonia.

Peyton Williams, Ashdown boys track and field

The senior won the 100 (11.28), 200 (22.89) and triple jump (40-3) at the Scrapper Relays in Nashville.

Belle Lindsey, De Queen girls track and field

The junior won the high jump (5-11) and triple jump (33-6) at the Scrapper Relays in Nashville.

Phillip Garcia, Cabot boys track and field

The senior won the 800 (2:03.86) and 1,600 (4:31.66) at the Leon White Invite in Cabot.

Laylah Reese, Cabot girls track and field

The junior won the 100 hurdles (15.82) and 300 hurdles (47.40) at the Leon White Invite in Cabot.

Raghan Allen, Conway girls track and field

The junior won the 100 (11.98) and 200 (24.65) at the Leon White Invite in Cabot.

Elise Knight, Valley View track and field

The senior won the 1,600 (5:27.07) and 3,200 (11:59.90) at the Leon White Invite in Cabot.

Isaiah Sategna, Fayetteville boys track and field

The senior won the 300 hurdles (37.37) at the Gorilla Relays in Pittsburg, Kan., setting a meet record.

Jada Diaz, Jonesboro Westside softball

The junior went 3-for-4 with 5 RBI in a 17-5 victory over Brookland.

Hannah Nicholson, Tuckerman softball

The junior struck out 11 in a 9-1 victory over Midland.

Eder Leal, Jonesboro boys soccer

The senior scored four goals in a 7-0 victory over Paragould.

Yajaira Alvarado, Jonesboro girls soccer

The junior scored four goals and had 1 assist in a 9-0 victory over Paragould.

Ryley McMains, Greene County Tech boys soccer

The senior scored three goals in an 8-0 victory over West Memphis.

Mason Andrews, Walnut Ridge baseball

The senior pitched a 5-inning no-hitter while striking out 10 in a 13-1 victory over Hoxie. He also went 2-for-4 with a double and 4 RBI.

Makenzie Erwin, Alma softball

The junior had five hits including the walk-off single in a 12-11 victory over Prairie Grove.

Jaxson Ingle, Lonoke baseball

The sophomore struck out 16 in 6 innings while walking 3 with 3 hits and 1 earned run in a 6-1 victory over Brookland.

Cory Jines, Norfork baseball

The sophomore third baseman doubled and was 2-for-3 with 4 RBI in a 6-3 win against ICC, who was then-ranked No. 1 in Class 1A. Jines was also 2-for-3 in a win against Cotter.

July Stone, Norfork baseball

Stone picked up two wins last week on the mound with a combined 15 Ks, one walk and just two earned runs. In a 6-3 win against conference power ICC, Stone pitched a complete game with 10 strikeouts and no walks.

Brooke Beyer, Har-Ber softball

The junior has been out for eight weeks due to an orbital blowout fracture to her eye, but she started right where she left off. Beyer had a home run and caught seven innings in Har-Ber's 9-5 win against Southside.

Lillie-Faye McWhorter, Woodlawn softball

Across a two-game win span, McWhorter went 6-for-8 at the plate with six hits -including a double and two singles - six RBIs and had three home runs. The freshman was also impressive in the circle, striking out 14 batters and only allowing three hits in the win over McGehee.
