Fayetteville remains at No. 1 but will be tested this week in a preview of the 6A West Conference race. De Queen makes the leap to No. 6 after falling to No. 5 Northside with a one-goal loss and edging Russellville 1-0.
Mountain Home jumps to No. 17 after winning its first 5A-West game of the season. Bryant makes its 2023 Top 25 debut after pushing a couple of Top 10 teams to tie games.
1. Fayetteville (5-0)
The Bulldogs haven’t given up a goal since Feb. 28. They have nonconference matches against No. 4 Rogers and No. 8 Bentonville West before starting 6A West play in April.
2. Conway (3-2)
The Wampus Cats begin 6A-Central play this week with matches against Little Rock Southwest and North Little Rock.
3. Springdale (3-0-1)
The Bulldogs host No. 14 Clarksville on Tuesday.
4. Rogers (2-0-1)
The Mounties tied Bryant in a rematch. Rogers has a couple of nonconference matches against No. XX Bentonville and No. 1 Fayetteville this week.
5. Northside (5-1)
The Grizzlies have gone 3-0 since their loss to Southmore (Okla.) but were pushed by No. 6 De Queen.
6. De Queen (4-2)
The Leopards dropped a 3-2 decision to No. 5 Northside and will host the other Fort Smith school on Thursday.
7. Russellville (6-2-1)
The Cyclones won four in a row after tying Bryant, including No. 8 Bentonville. The squad hosts Greenbrier and travels to Alma for two 5A-West matches.
8. Bentonville (4-2)
The Tigers have three matches this week, including No. 4 Rogers, before an extended break until April 4.
9. Rogers Heritage (3-0)
The War Eagles were idle last week. Heritage has three matches with Prairie Grove, Farmington, and Gentry.
10. Springdale Har-Ber (1-0)
The Wildcats blanked No. 20 Cabot. The squad faces No. 11 Bentonville West in a tune-up nonconference contest on Thursday.
11. Bentonville West (3-2-1)
The Wolverines dropped their last two games in matches against Oklahoma teams.
12. LR Catholic (3-2)
The Rockets went 1-1 during a tournament on Saturday with a loss to No. 8 Bentonville and defeated No. 13 Little Rock Christian Academy. The squad takes on No. 20 Cabot on Monday.
13. LR Christian Academy (4-2)
The Warriors remain unbeaten in the 5A Central, along with Pulaski Academy and Vilonia. LR Christian faces Vilonia on Tuesday.
14. Clarksville (4-0-1)
The Panthers went 3-0 last week and dispatched two 4A-West foes for an early lead in the conference. Clarksville faces Springdale on Tuesday.
15. Van Buren (2-3-1)
The Pointers split their week but won its 5A West opener.
16. Hot Springs (3-1)
The Trojans share the top spot with Lakeside in the 5A South, and both teams square off this week.
17. Mountain Home (8-0)
The Bombers may surprise some teams this season as they’re off to their best start. The team picked up their first 5A West win against Siloam Springs.
18. Siloam Springs (0-6)
The Panthers face unranked Alma and Greenbrier in 5A West contests but also take on No. 8 Bentonville.
19. Harding Academy (3-0)
The Wildcats begin 4A-North league play this week with matches against Robinson and LISA Academy West.
20. Bryant (2-2-2)
The Hornets tied No. 7 Russellville and No. 2 Conway last week. The Hornets have two 6A-Central games this week, including a match against No. 12 Little Rock Catholic.
19. Benton (2-1)
The Panthers defeated Arkansas High School (Texarkana) with a combined 11-1 score. They face Hot Springs on Tuesday.
20. Cabot (4-2)
The Panthers split their contests last week and begin 6A-Central Conference play at No. 12 Little Rock Catholic.
21. Nashville (1-1-1)
The Scrappers tied El Dorado but defeated Mills University last week. The squad has two more nonconference games and a 4A South contest against Hope on Tuesday.
24. Lincoln (2-0)
The Wolves began their season with 1-0 wins, including 3A West Conference opponent Life Way Christian. Lincoln faces two more league foes this week.
25. Mena (3-0)
The Bearcats battle Class 6A Southside on Tuesday.
