This week's Arkansas prep girls soccer rankings

There were no real surprises this past week with little movement on the rankings. However, Riverview makes its 2023 debut on the list. 

Conference titles will be decided this week for a few leagues. 

1. Bentonville (13-2-2)

The Tigers took care of Rogers and Northside last week and will get the 6A-West title with another win on Friday, but it faces No. 2 Fayetteville. This could be a preview of the Class 6A title game that is still two weeks away.

2. Fayetteville (14-0-2)

The Bulldogs could get the league title this week, but it needs to take care of Southside and No. 1 Bentonville. Fayetteville dispatched Springdale and Heritage last week with a combined score of 10-2.

3. Bentonville West (5-7-4)

The Wolverines dropped a 2-1 decision to Southside but still have secured a berth in the Class 6A tournament. The team hosts Har-Ber to finish the regular season.

4. Rogers (10-3-2)

The Mounties will finish third in the 6A-West after defeating Springdale 4-3 and a 5-1 loss to Bentonville. Rogers may face North Little Rock in the first round of the tournament.

5. Fort Smith Northside (8-5-1)

The Lady Bears may finish fifth in the league but needs to finish up with a win at Springdale. They defeated Heritage but dropped a 6-1 decision to Bentonville.

6. Rogers Heritage (7-6)

Another week, another split for the War Eagles. Heritage opened the week with a win against Har-Ber but finished with a loss at Fayetteville. Heritage finishes with the No. 4 spot and with Rogers at home.

7. Siloam Springs (14-3-2)

The Panthers held on to beat Russellville 1-0 and still have a good shot to finish the year undefeated in league play. Siloam Springs faces Harrison to end the season, but it was close in the earlier meeting, with the Panthers getting the 3-2 win.

8. Harding Academy (12-0)

The Wildcats are likely to finish the regular season undefeated and the 4A-North title. The team has Jonesboro Westside, Lisa Academy West, and Wynne remaining.

9. Pulaski Academy (15-1)

The Bruins are undefeated in league play, but it’s on the line when it hosts Little Rock Christian on Tuesday. Pulaski Academy won the previous meeting 3-1 and has given up only five goals this season.

10. LR Christian Academy (14-2)

The Warriors have won 10 consecutive games and the last six by a 9-0 margin. LR Christian will fight Pulaski Academy for a share of the 5A-Central title early this week.

11. Mount St. Mary (11-3-3)

The Belles picked up two wins and are poised to contend for the 6A-Central title with No. 17 Conway and No. 16 Little Rock Central this week. The Belles could clinch the No. 1 spot or fall to No. 3.

12. Harrison (13-4-1)

The Goblins have moved into position to battle for the 5A-West title this week as it faces league leader No. 7 Siloam Springs and Russellville. Harrison has outscored opponents 29-0 in the last six games.

13. Russellville (13-1-2)

The Cyclones had a six-game win string snapped at No. 7 Siloam Springs last week with a 1-0 loss. Russellville is likely to finish third in the 5A-West and has games left against Harrison and Van Buren.

14. El Dorado (14-1)

The Wildcats wrap up the regular season with two matches against Lake Hamilton (2-12-1). El Dorado won the 5A-South title and got the top spot for the playoffs.

15. Springdale Har-Ber (6-7-1)

The Wildcats had five consecutive losses and are likely out for postseason play. Har-Ber finishes the season with Bentonville West and Springdale this week.

16. LR Central (13-2-2)

The Tigers have won the 6A-Central title and the first-round bye for the state tournament at Fort Smith Southside. The team defeated both Conway and Cabot last week. The Tigers wrap up the regular season at No. 11 Mount St. Mary.

17. Conway (9-1-5)

The Wampus Cats suffered their first 6A-Central loss of the season to Little Rock Central and fell to the No. 3 spot in the conference. Conway can get back to No. 2 and get a first-round bye if it beats Mount St. Mary early this week.

18. Joe T. Robinson (12-4)

The Senators have won three consecutive games, including a 4-0 win at Brookland, and will hold onto the No. 2 seed from the 4A-North.

19. Brookland (13-3-1)

The Bearcats had a four-game win string snapped by Little Rock Robinson. Brookland will take the No. 3 seed from the 4A-North.

20. Bauxite (9-2-1)

The Miners dropped to No. 2 in the 4A-South with a loss to Morrilton. Before the tournament begins, the team has another non-conference match with Hope (7-4-3).

21. Lakeside (13-3)

The Rams wrapped up 5A-South Conference play last week with a pair of wins and will have two non-conference games to prepare for the state tournament as the No. 2 seed.

22. Benton (9-5).

The Panthers will take the No. 3 seed from the 5A-South. They still have Sheridan (7-6-2) this week.

23. Life Way Christian (11-1-1)

Life Way clinches the 3A-West title and the top seed. The team has won seven consecutive games since the 1-0 to Class 4A Prairie Grove.

24. Green Forest (7-3)

The Tigers finished runner-up in the 3A-West and will have the No. 2 seed for the state tournament.

25. Riverview (7-0)

The Pirates battle Cave City (13-5) for a share of the 3A-North title early this week. Riverview can clinch the title outright with the win, but a Cave City win gives the Cavemen a share and the top seed for the tournament.
