McBride totaled more than 9,700 votes

Arkadelphia senior quarterback Cade McBride was voted SBLive’s Arkansas High School Athlete of the Week for Oct. 30-Nov. 5. 

McBride, a former linebacker, totaled 9,792 votes. Bryant junior receiver Karter Ratliff was second with 4,204 votes (22.91%). 

McBride completed 14 of 22 passes for 219 yards and 3 touchdowns, and he carried 13 times for 154 yards and 3 more scores in the Badgers’ 55-35 win over Malvern.
