Here are Scorebook Live’s all-classification Top 25 rankings for Washington high school boys basketball for the week of Feb. 24, 2020.

Our all-class Top 25 rankings are released weekly throughout the 2019-20 high school boys basketball season, based on results from the previous week. The rankings are compiled by SB Live basketball analyst and former NBA player Dan Dickau and SB Live Washington reporter Andy Buhler.

Rankings as of Feb. 24, 2020 (based on last week’s results)

1. Eastside Catholic 22-3 (3A)

It’s hard to beat any team three times in a season. That’s especially true if that team is Paolo Banchero-led O’Dea. But after beating Seattle Prep, 58-41, and Rainier Beach by 20, the Crusaders erased an 11-point deficit to topple O’Dea in the 3A SeaKing district finals — the program’s first district title.

2. O’Dea 20-5 (3A)

Defeated Bellevue, then Garfield, 64-60, before losing to top-ranked Eastside Catholic in a district title game. The Crusaders enter the 3A regional round as the No. 7 seed with a guaranteed state berth.

3. Union 24-0 (4A)

Brought home the 4A West-Central Bi-District tournament championship with wins over Sumner, 83-65, then Battle Ground in the title game, 82-57. The Titans enter the 4A regional round as the No. 1 seed.

4. Garfield 21-4 (3A)

Beat West Seattle, lost to No. 2 O’Dea, then beat Rainier Beach to secure one of the five 3A SeaKing regional berths.

5. Glacier Peak 23-0 (4A)

Brought home the 4A Wes-King district title with wins over Skyline, 59-39, then Inglemoor in the title game, 50-29, to notch the program’s best-ever record entering the 4A state tournament as the two-seed.

6. Central Valley 21-2 (4A)

Won the 4A District 8 tournament with a win over Gonzaga Prep, 68-53, on Saturday to secure the No. 4 seed entering the state tournament. 

7. Mount Si 22-4 (4A)

Beat Mariner, Skyline and Jackson to secure the No. 3 seed out of the 4A Wes-King tournament and a guaranteed state berth. 

8. Wilson 20-2 (3A) 

Beat Lincoln, then Evergreen (Vancouver) in the 3A West-Central Bi-District title game, 81-66, to secure a guaranteed state berth.

9. Mt. Spokane 18-3 (3A)

Lost to No. 15 Kamiakin, 55-52, in the 3A District 8 title game, then beat Kennewick for the second time in a week, 88-41, to secure the second state berth and the No. 8 seed for a guaranteed state game in the regional round.

10. North Kitsap 20-3 (2A)

Lost to Lindbergh in a district title game, 62-54, but beat White River in overtime to get there. The Vikings secured a 3-seed, which means a guaranteed state appearance.

11. Federal Way 23-4 (4A)

Beat Kennedy Catholic handily, edged Skyview, 70-65, then defeated Auburn, 60-49, to secure a guaranteed state berth and the 5-seed.

12. Chiawana 22-3 (4A)

How many other district tournaments could Chiawana have walked out of with a state berth? It’s a valid question, after the MCC regular season champion Riverhawks’ season ended when it lost to Gonzaga Prep, 61-59, in a game that determined the second and final seed out of the District 8 tournament.

13. Seattle Prep 21-5 (3A)

Beat Ingraham in a loser-out, lost to Eastside Catholic, 58-41, then beat Mercer Island in another loser-out, and Bellevue, 55-45, to secure a regional berth.

14. Kamiakin 19-3 (3A)

Defeated No. 7 Mt. Spokane in the 3A District 8 title game behind a big game from Messiah Jones to guarantee a state berth, and nab a 6-seed in the regional round.

15. Gonzaga Prep 17-5 (4A) 

Liam Lloyd is on a mission. His 30 points and 12 boards helped two-time defending 4A champ Gonzaga Prep edge out No. 9 Chiawana for the second and final 4A District 8 state berth.

16. Evergreen (Vancouver) 20-3 (3A)

Beat Mount Tahoma in the 3A West-Central Bi-District tournament semifinals in overtime, 75-70, then lost to No. 10 Wilson, 81-66, in the finals. The Plainsmen enter the regional round as the 5-seed and a guaranteed state berth.

17. Olympia 19-6 (4A)

Beat Puyallup, 54-49, lost to Auburn, 53-49, then beat Skyview in a seeding consolation match in the 4A West-Central Bi-District tournament to nab a 10-seed in a loser-out regional round game against Eastmont. 

18. Auburn 23-5 (4A)

Defeated South Kitsap, 80-66, beat No. 16 Olympia, 53-49, then lost to No. 13 Federal Way, 60-49, in a 4A West-Central District loser bracket game. The Trojans nabbed a regional berth with a 7-seed, which guarantees a state appearance. 

19. West Valley (Yakima) 19-2 (4A)

Secured one of two 4A District 6 berths by beating Eastmont, 73-65, to nab the 6-seed entering a guaranteed state game in regionals against Mount Si.

20.Lynden 21-2 (2A)

Defeated Mountlake Terrace, 58-49, then Lakewood, 62-52, to secure a district championship and the top overall seed entering regional game against Mountlake Terrace. Both teams are guaranteed to advance to state.

21. Toppenish 21-1 (2A)

Beat Selah to win its first district title since 1985 behind Isaac Perez’s 30 points, earning a 2-seed in the 2A regional round with a guaranteed state appearance ahead of its matchup against 7-seed Clarkston.

22. Marysville-Pilchuck 21-2 (3A)

Beat Edmonds-Woodway, 59-56, then Shorecrest, 68-55, to win the 3A District 1 championship to secure the 3-seed, and a guaranteed state berth.

23. Zillah 22-1 (1A)

Beat River View in the 1A District 5 tournament finals, 93-64, to nab the 3-seed overall, which means a guaranteed state berth entering a showdown between 1A powers in the regional round, when it faces 6-seed Lynden Christian.

24. Sumner 18-6 (4A) 

Lost to No. 3 Union, 83-65, then beat Kentwood, 63-55, in the 4A West-Central Bi-District tournament third place game. Enters the regional round as the 9-seed playing a loser-out against Kentwood.

25.Seattle Academy 22-1 (1A)

Beat King’s in the 1A Bi-District championship, 76-57, to nab the top overall seed entering the 1A regional round.
