FINAL FOUR MATCHUPS: VOTE NOW!

QUARTERFINAL MATCHUPS:

(1) MICHAEL PORTER JR. VS. (3) ISAIAH THOMAS

Dickau's Details:

Porter Jr. (Nathan Hale, 2017)
"Only played one year in the state at Nathan Hale but was absolutely dominant in leading them to an undefeated season. A skilled and versatile wing who can do it all. Currently in the NBA with the Denver Nuggets."

Thomas (Curtis, 2006*)
"One of the best scorers ever in the state despite his size. Strong, skilled, and shifty with the bounce - combined with his competitiveness has allowed him to have success at Curtis HS (left after his junior year for South Kent School in Conn.), UW and a lengthy NBA career."

RESULTS:

Note: Isaiah Thomas won the total vote across SB Live, Twitter and Instagram 336-291.

(1) BRANDON ROY VS. (3) NATE ROBINSON

Dickau's Details:

Roy, Garfield (2002)
“Although he never won ‘Mr. Basketball’ he put together a great high school career at Garfield. His career took off at UW where he became an All-American leading to be the 6th pick in the NBA Draft. He became an All-Star for the Blazers but knee injuries cut his career short.”

Robinson, Rainier Beach (2002)
“Maybe the greatest athlete ever in any sport from the state. Originally went to UW for football but ended up being a key “cog in the wheel” in Washington’s NCAA Tourney runs. Has played nearly 10 seasons in the NBA as an undersized guard who never backs down from any challenge.”

RESULTS:

Note: Brandon Roy won the total vote across SB Live, Twitter and Instagram 316-296.

---

(3) SPENCER HAWES VS. (4) KEVIN PORTER JR.

Dickau's Details:

Hawes, Seattle Prep (2006)
“A skilled big if there ever was one in the state. He was a stretch 5 before the skill set became popular. The Seattle Prep product went to UW for one season before having a long NBA career.”

Porter Jr., Rainier Beach (2018)
“As explosive as the state has ever seen. He could score in literally any way at Rainier Beach. One season at USC before being drafted in the first round of 2019 NBA Draft where he looks to have a long and promising career ahead of him.”

RESULTS:

Note: Kevin Porter Jr. won the total vote across SB Live, Twitter and Instagram 442-178.

---

(2) ADAM MORRISON VS. (4) ZACH LAVINE

Dickau's Details:

Morrison, Mead (2003)
Led Mead High School in Spokane to a state title game appearance (37 points vs. Franklin) before losing to Aaron Brooks (38 points) and Franklin in 2003. He became an instant contributor at Gonzaga and shared National Player of Year awards in 2006 with the Zags. NBA career included 2 NBA titles with the Los Angeles Lakers.”

LaVine, Bothell (2013)
“Supreme athlete who could really shoot it – played at Bothell High School before heading to UCLA. Left after one season and with his work ethic has carved out and incredible NBA career.”

RESULTS:

Note: Zach LaVine won the total vote across SB Live, Twitter and Instagram 428-202.
