JAN. 22 – TOP BOYS BASKETBALL STARS IN MISSISSIPPI

Charvez Ambrose, Holly Springs: Ambrose scored 18 points to lead Holly Springs to a 66-61 win over Byhalia.

Jamal Anderson, Cleveland Central: Anderson tallied 17 points, 14 rebounds and 2 blocks to lead Cleveland Central to a 57-41 win over Neshoba Central.

Cartize Booth, Bay Springs: Booth scored 11 points and pulled down 18 rebounds in Bay Springs' 85-59 win over Enterprise Clarke.

Cam Brent, Jackson Prep: Brent scored 22 points to lead Jackson Prep to a 54-45 win over Jackson Academy.

Gavin Brinker, Pontotoc: Brinker scored a game-high 27 points in a 77-70 win over Shannon.

Spence Coffman, Tishomingo County: Coffman scored 23 points in a 77-72 win over North Pontotoc.

Ryan Cofield, Madison Central: Cofield drilled five 3-pointers and scored 20 points to lead Madison Central to a 52-37 win over Warren Central.

John Davis, Pascagoula: Davis scored 22 points to lead Pascagoula to a 48-34 win over Wayne County.

Jonathan Edmond, Morton: Edmond scored 23 points to lead Morton to a 67-66 overtime win over Kemper County.

James Granger, Kemper County: Granger scored a game-high 27 points in Kemper County's 67-66 loss to Morton.

Zandon Haralson, Center Hill: Haralson scored a game-high 23 points to lead Center Hill to a 78-48 win over Lafayette.

Josh Hubbard, MRA: Hubbard poured in 37 points to lead MRA to a 66-47 win over PCS. It was his sixth 30-plus point game of the season.

Duran Parrish, Biloxi: Parrish scored 19 points to lead Biloxi past D'Iberville 50-41.

Rock Robinson, Pontotoc: Robinson turned in the double-double with 25 points and 12 rebounds in a 77-70 win over Shannon.

Eli Sanderson, Tishomingo County: Sanderson scored 26 points in a 77-72 win over North Pontotoc.

Taylon Smith, Vicksburg: Smith scored 22 points — all in the second half — to lead Vicksburg to a 72-35 win over Ridgeland.

Josh Sykes, Park Place: Sykes scored 21 points to lead Park Place to a 52-50 win over St. Aloysius.
