California (CIF) State Girls Basketball Championships 2022: Scores, game stories, photos, video highlights
The 2022 California (CIF) State Girls Basketball Championships wrapped up Saturday night in Sacramento.
For the first time since 2019, true boys and girls basketball state champions were crowned. The 2020 CIF State Championships were canceled just days before tip-off because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and last year's abbreviated season concluded with regional championships in Southern California and section championships in Northern California.
Six girls basketball state championship games were held at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, with the first game tipping off at 10 a.m. on Friday and the final game tipping off at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
