Hart softball CF Tenley Sweet voted SBLive’s Southern California High School Athlete of the Week


Congratulations to Hart softball center fielder Tenley Sweet for being voted SBLive’s Southern California High School Athlete of the Week for March 21-27!
The junior has a hit in all 17 games this season and hit a home run against Brea Olinda on Saturday.
Sweet received 52.29% of the vote, beating out Granite Hills' Grant MacArthur who finished second with 44.09% of the vote.

Madison Zulager, Moorpark softball: Zulager hit two home runs in last week's 11-3 win over Oak Park.
Alyssa DeMayo, Rancho Alamitos softball: DeMayo had three hits against Orange last week including her ninth triple of the season.
Cierra Cloud, Santa Ynez softball: Cloud hit three triples in Friday's 15-14 loss to Orcutt Academy.
Kayla Bousquette, Heritage Christian softball: Bousquette allowed one hit and struck out nine batters in five shutout innings against Village Christian on Tuesday.
Stefini Maake, Our Lady of Peace softball: Maake had 11 hits, three home runs and 11 runs batted in across four games last week.
Hannah Waclawski, Mission Vista softball: Waclawski struck out 16 batters and allowed only one earned run in Thursday's win over High Tech San Diego.
Grant MacArthur, Granite Hills baseball: MacArthur had five hits including three home runs in two games against Grossmont last week.
Sam Garewal, Canyon Crest baseball: Garewal tossed seven shutout innings against La Costa Canyon, extending his shutout streak to 27 straight innings.
Tyler Wanless, Westview baseball: Wanless had three hits including a home run and a triple in Monday's 8-0 win against Carlsbad.
Thomas Maher, Torrey Pines baseball: Maher had two hits including a grand slam against Santa Fe Christian on Monday.
Justin Tillar, Kennedy baseball: Tillar had three hits against Canyon Springs including two home runs and seven runs batted in.
Miles Scott, Servite baseball: Scott's hit a two-run single that served as the game-winner as Servite swept Santa Margarita last week.
Dominic Dominguez, Victor Valley baseball: Dominguez had eight hits including three home runs and drove in 11 runs last week across four games for the Jackrabbits.
Ian Stewart, Summit baseball: Stewart had five hits and drove in three runs over the course of two games for the SkyHawks last week.
Matthew Leiterman, Taft baseball: Leiterman went 4-5 with a home run, double, and five runs batted in against Sotomayor on Monday.
Royce Mendoza, Ramona baseball: Mendoza went 3-4 with three runs and three runs batted in against Crean Lutheran on Monday.
Raul Reyes, Kennedy (Granada Hills) baseball: Reyes tossed a five-inning no-hitter, striking out six batters in Monday's win over Reseda.
Jackson Cloud, Santa Ynez baseball: Cloud pitched five innings without allowing a hit and struck out 11 batters against Carpinteria.
