LA JOLLA, Calif. -- After nearly four hours and 11 innings of baseball, a wild pitch from Grossmont allowed Eastlake's Daniel Mora to sprint home from third base for the game-winning run in the San Diego Section Division 1 championship game.

Eastlake, the two-seed in the bracket, trailed three different times during the game and rallied to tie Grossmont at six with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh inning. Mora, who led off the inning with a single to right field, came around to score three batters later to give the Titans a 7-6 victory over Grossmont in 11 innings.

Eastlake junior catcher Nico Libed led the way for the Titans. The University of San Diego commit singled in his second at bat before walking three times. He stole five bases and scored four of Eastlake's seven runs, helping the Titans capture their eighth CIF title.
