Photos: Point Loma moves to 6-1 with 42-12 win over Morse

Senior Chase Lowary rushed for 116 yards and scored the opening touchdown of the game.

POINT LOMA, Calif. -- Point Loma scored four first half touchdowns, leading Morse 28-6 at the halftime break en route to a 42-12 win in what was the Eastern League opener for the Pointers. Senior Chase Lowary opened the scoring with a four-yard touchdown less than six minutes into the game. Following the lone offensive touchdown of the game for Morse, Point Loma would add three more touchdowns in just over a ten minute span to put a gap between themselves and the visitors.

Brady Allen found the end zone with an 18-yard touchdown run during Point Loma's first possession of the second half, putting the game out of reach to secure their first league win of the season.
