California high school football recruiting: Top 10 teams with most signees

No surprise that national and state champion St. John Bosco guided the most seniors to college programs; How many and who ranks second likely will raise eyebrows

State and national champion St. John Bosco-Bellflower not only signed the most players into college football programs, the Braves doubled any other school in California.

Through the early signing period (Dec. 21-23) and the first day (Wednesday) of the regular signing period (Feb. 1 to March 1), Jason Negro's squad have signed up a whopping 16 to FBS programs.

The next closest amount is eight, with two teams tied for second. One of those schools is perennial national and Inland Empire power Corona Centennial, and the other might surprise most.

Another Trinity League power? National powerhouse Mater Dei-Santa?

No.

How about another big school power that flexed among the top five ranked teams all season — Los Alamitos or Long Beach Poly? Mission Viejo?

No, tied with Centennial at No. 2 actually turned out to be Inglewood with eight signees, followed by Los Alamitos with 7.

The remaining seven schools signed off on either five or six athletes.

Here is the the list of California high school football programs who as of Wednesday have signed the most athletes into college programs.

The number before each athlete is their California recruiting ranking according to 247Sports composite. The school in parenthesis is where they have signed.
