Chloe Briggs breaks all-time CIF Southern Section career scoring record in Ontario Christian playoff win

The Washington commit scored 42 points to surpass Cheryl Miller's career scoring mark of 3,446 points

Ontario Christian senior Chloe Briggs is now the all-time leading scorer in Southern Section girls basketball history.

The 4-star Washington commit passed Cheryl Miller's career mark of 3,446 points on Saturday in scoring 42 points in a 74-70 playoff victory against Bishop Montgomery. In doing so, she led OC to its first Open Division win in program history and improved her career points total to 3,458.

Briggs has averaged 28.3 points per game throughout her career in addition to 10.8 rebounds, 3.3 steals, and 1.2 blocks.

Impressively, the new CIFSS scoring leader has many scouts and coaches even more excited about her facilitating than her scoring. Briggs has a career mark of 7.7 assists per game at Ontario Christian, with an astounding four-year total of 941 and counting.
