Trent Mosley's recruitment is on the rise, as is his team Santa Margarita's status in the state and Southern Section rankings.

Less than a week after accounting for four touchdowns in an impressive win at Central Section power Liberty, Mosley scored six touchdowns Thursday in an improbable 51-45 win at Bishop Amat.

That's 10 touchdowns in less than a week.

He turned a short, John Gazzaniga pass into a 49-yard catch and run midway through the third quarter to give Santa Margarita its first lead, 36-29. Amat, which once led 29-8, immediately responded as Frankie Villalbazo connected with Talen O'Dell on a 64-yard touchdown to tie the game at 36-36.

Mosley finished off a 90-yard drive with his fifth TD, a 1-yard run to go up for good, 43-36 with 2:45 left in the third. Mosley all but sealed it with his sixth score, a 35-yard catch and run and he caught a two-point conversion, making it 51-36 with 11:38 left.

Mosley hasn't been given a recruiting ranking yet by 247Sports, but the 5-foot-10, 175-pounder already has 11 college offers, including Michigan, Notre Dame, Oregon, Stanford, USC and Texas A&M.

He scored four touchdowns — two rushing and two receiving — in a 34-14 win at Liberty on Friday.

Gazzaniga finished with 371 yards passing and four touchdowns, and Amat's Villalbazo added 301 yards passing and four touchdowns, according to Fred J. Robledo.

Santa Margarita came into the week ranked No. 15 in the SBLive California Top 25 and No. 12 in the Southern Section.
