In one of the best matchups of the 2023 California high school football season, two teams ranked near the top of the SBLive California Power 25 square off Friday night in Southern California: No. 6 Sierra Canyon vs. No. 9 Orange Lutheran.

Orange Lutheran (3-1) is coming off a tough 35-10 loss to Chandler (Arizona). The win vaulted Chandler into the SBLive/Sports Illustrated national football rankings. The Lancers will look to rebound against a Sierra Canyon team that is 3-0 but hasn't played as tough of a schedule.
