Bear Bachmeier, elite California quarterback, wants to visit Michigan, Texas A&M: Look

Bachmeier led the Nighthawks to a win over previously unbeaten San Clemente

SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA – Bear Bachmeier tossed two touchdowns, rushed for one and put the Nighthawks up for good with a two-point conversion run in Friday's 39-38 victory over host San Clemente.

San Clemente entered Friday's game having given up 34 total points in five games this season before Bachmeier and crew posted 39 points against the Tritons on homecoming night.

Murrieta Valley and San Clemente were tied at the half and were never separated by more than seven points throughout the game.

After scoring a touchdown with 90 seconds left to play, Murrieta Valley called timeout and decided on a two-point conversion to avoid a possible overtime scenario. Bachmeier delivered by pushing his way into the end zone right behind his blockers to give Murrieta Valley their first lead since midway through the first quarter.

Following the game, Bachmeier talked about what went well offensively as well as an update on his recruitment and what schools he'd like to visit next.
