All 10 CIF Sections are in action Friday (September 22) as the 2023 California high school football season rolls on across the Golden State.

Mater Dei - the top-ranked team in California and the country - travels across the country for a matchup with St. Frances Academy in Baltimore. No. 5 Sierra Canyon also hits the road, heading to Phoenix to play Saguaro in the desert.

Other big games include Liberty (Arizona) at No. 4 Corona Centennial, No. 10 Rancho Cucamonga at unbeaten Vista Murrieta and No. 24 De La Salle at No. 15 Folsom.
