The Huskies beat Eastvale Roosevelt 63-14; vs. Vista Murrieta, Thursday; No. 2

4. Sierra Canyon (7-0)

The Trailblazers beat Bishop Amat 56-14 and held the Lancers to 82 total yards and -11 rushing; at Alemany; No. 4

5. Long Beach Poly (6-1)

The Jackrabbits avoided an overtime scare to Millikan last week that might've re-focused the Jackrabbits this week, beating LB Wilson 46-0; at Cabrillo; No. 5

6. Rancho Cucamonga (7-0)

Cougars came off a bye week and took down Etiwanda in a Baseline League showdown 35-7; vs. Chino Hills; No. 6

7. Mission Viejo (5-1)

The Diablos were idle on a bye week; vs. San Clemente; No. 7

8. Murrieta Valley (6-1)

It's not easy to stop running back Dorian Hoze, who led Murrieta Valley to a 48-19 victory over Norco; vs. Chaparral; No. 9

9. Gardena Serra (5-2)

The Cavs topped Notre Dame/Sherman Oaks 45-35 to stay unbeaten in the Mission League; at Bishop Amat; No. 10

11. Orange Lutheran (4-3)

The Lancers gets a crucial Trinity League win over Santa Margarita, 28-21; vs. Servite at Cerritos College; No. 13

12. Oxnard Pacifica (8-0)

Business as usual for, this time topping Channel Islands 59-0; BYE; No. 12

13. Damien (8-0)

The Spartans weren't going to let Chino Hills sneak up on them like the Huskies did to Etiwanda last week. The Spartans move to 2-0 in the Baseline League after a 34-7 win over the Huskies; BYE; No. 14

14. Santa Margarita (4-3)

The Eagles fall to Orange Lutheran 28-21; at JSerra; No. 11

15. San Clemente (7-1)

The Tritons beat Ayala in a nonleague matchup 42-13; at Mission Viejo; No. 15

16. Oaks Christian (5-2)

The Lions traveled to Santa Barbara and topped Bishop Diego in Marmonte League play 49-13 thanks to three TD tosses from Nate Bennett; at Westlake; No. 16

17. Los Alamitos (5-2)

The Griffins move to 2-0 in the Sunset League with a 62-14 win over Newport Harbor thanks to Alonzo Esparza's two TD passes and Anthony League's 146 yards and two scores; vs. Corona del Mar at Veterans Stadium (Long Beach);  No. 17

18. Palos Verdes (7-0)

The Sea Kings escape a nail-biter against Mira Costa, 9-7, to stay unbeaten; vs. Redondo Union, 3 p.m.; No. 18

The Vikings are back on top in the Foothill League, beating West Ranch 42-14; BYE; No. 22

The Friars are battling in the Trinity League every week; vs. Orange Lutheran at Cerritos College; No. 20
