Husan Longstreet visiting Washington; Nation's No. 4 quarterback 'excited' to visit Huskies

Centennial (California) four-star quarterback Husan Longstreet will visit Washington this weekend

The Washington Huskies host the Oregon Ducks in college football's marquee match-up Saturday in a contest that will be featured on ESPN's "College Gameday."

So naturally, Kalen DeBoer's program is taking advantage of that backdrop to host a massive collection of visitors this weekend.

One of the headliners of that group is Centennial (California) star Husan Longstreet, the nation's No. 4 quarterback in the class of 2025.

"I am excited about visiting Washington this weekend," he said. "The coaches have been showing me love for awhile, and I am excited about watching them perform."

Washington has recruited several highly-rated quarterbacks in recent years and currently boasts Heisman Trophy candidate (favorite?) Michael Penix Jr.

In general, the Huskies are putting up video game-like numbers on offense every Saturday.

That has to be a significant plus in the Huskies' favor.

In general, however, it's still far too early to definitively say where Longstreet will end up.

Whoever lands him will be getting a special player.

As a sophomore at Inglewood (California), Longstreet completed 68.6 percent of his passes for 3,941 yards and 40 touchdowns with seven interceptions.

He has since transferred, and continued to flourish at Centennial.

Where will Longstreet's next stop be?

For at least this weekend, he'll be in Seattle to check out one of his collegiate options.
