No. 1 St. John Bosco (9-1) defeated No. 9 Orange Lutheran (5-5) to lock up the Trinity League title, 44-22, and clinch the top seed in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 playoffs. Caleb Sanchez threw for six touchdowns.
No. 2 Mater Dei (9-1) beat No. 15 Santa Margarita 35-19.
No. 3 Corona Centennial (8-2) defeated Norco 55-0 thanks to four TD passes from Husan Longstreet Thursday night.
No. 4 Sierra Canyon (10-0) won its second straight Mission League title with a 44-6 win over Chaminade. The Trailblazers are headed to the Division 1 playoffs for the first time ever.
No. 5 Long Beach Poly (9-1) won another Moore League title with a 56-14 win over LB Jordan.
