CIF Central Coast Section 2023 football playoff brackets: Scores, matchups, game times

Top seeds are Serra (Open/D1), Mitty (D2), Menlo-Atherton (D3), Palo Alto (D4) and Woodside (D5).

The six-division Central Coast Section football brackets are complete.

The games kick off Friday and concludes Nov. 24. The champions advance to the CIF State Northern Regional championships on Dec. 1-2.

State championships — winners of the regional finals — take place Dec. 8-9 at three different venues: Pasadena College, El Camino College-Torrance and Saddleback College-Mission Viejo.

Defending Central Coast Section champions are Serra (Division 1), Bellarmine (D2), Menlo School (D3), Santa Teresa (D4) and Palo Alto (D5). 

Top seeds in the 2023 brackets are Serra (Open/D1), Mitty (D2), Menlo-Atherton (D3), Palo Alto (D4) and Woodside (D5). 

Note that the first-round winners in the top half of the Open/D1 bracket plays for the Open Division championship in Week 2 of playoffs. The loser of the Open Division championship plays the winner of the bottom half of bracket for the D1 championship in Week 3 of playoffs.
