Look: Granite Hills junior Pablo Jackson discusses Open Division playoff win over Carlsbad

Jackson had two rushing touchdowns and the game-winning 2-point conversion against Carlsbad

CARLSBAD, Calif. – Granite Hills extended their winning streak to 20 games on Thursday night, beating Carlsbad 46-45 in overtime in the San Diego Section Open Division playoffs. The Eagles scored their first five touchdowns on the ground, two coming from junior running back Pablo Jackson.

Jackson rushed for 80 yards, scoring two touchdowns in a span of less than three minutes in the second quarter. Following their overtime touchdown, Granite Hills opted to go for the 2-point conversion and put the ball in Jackson's hands. He swept around the right side and into the end zone, sending Granite Hills past Carlsbad and into the Open Division championship game.
