There were two big scorers on the hardwood Friday night, each scoring more than half their team's points in respective victories.

St. Francis' Mazi Mosley tallied 38 points and 10 rebounds in the team's 68-66 overtime victory over Branham High in the Paul Spates Tournament at the King's Academy.

Simi Valley's Ryde Mjoen notched 32 points in the Pioneers' 58-52 win over Oaks Christian.

Mosley is one of the top juniors in Southern California after being an All-Mission League (2nd team) selection as a sophomore. Mjoen was named the Canyon League MVP last year as a junior.

St. Francis (7-1) will play in the tournament final against King's Academy Saturday night at 8 p.m. Simi Valley (5-3) will take on Westlake at home Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

Crespi 73, Maranatha 44: Joe Sterling was at it again. The standout sophomore scored 29 points in the lopsided win. The Celts are 8-0.

Loyola 76, Bonita 50: Hugh Vandeweghe led the Cubs with 21 points in the El Rancho Tournament semifinal.

Agoura 69, Ventura 46: Ethan Klopp had 24 points and DJ Jacob added 20 in the victory.

Rolling Hills Prep 67, Hamilton 43: RHP had four players score in double figures led by Terell Hopkins' 14 points and Mateo Trujillo's 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Oakwood 68, University 38: Nikita Kochnev scored 13 and Oliver Ford had 11.

Crenshaw 70, St. Margaret's 67: Lacoy Smith Jr. led Crenshaw with 32 points.

Clovis West 69, Oak Park 52: She Henderson led Oak Park with 13 points in the loss.

St. Anthony 57, LB Wilson 51: Quincy Phillips led the Saints with 23 points.

Saugus 71, Valencia 50: Justin Perez notched a double-double with 23 points and 16 rebounds.

Notre Dame/Sherman Oaks 84, Fairfax 45: Mercy Miller had 38 points and eight rebounds.

Rancho Cucamonga 50, Riverside Poly 48: Aaron Glass led the Cougars with 26 points and five assists.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Valencia 48, Saugus 43: Cara McKell led the Vikings with 19 points in the Foothill League victory.

Granada Hills 54, Oaks Christian 46: Emma Perez had 12 points for Granada. Oaks was led by Presley Kushner's 18.
