Palma rolls against Mission Oak for State title: Live updates, timeline from California CIF 4-A Football Championship
PASADENA, Calif. - It's the final day of the California high school football season.
After two state finals on Friday, Championship Saturday at the Pasadena City College site features the CIF State Championships in Divisions 2-A, 4-A, and 7-A.
You can read the full primer on those five title games here. In the first game of the day, Strathmore (Central Section) defeated Bell Gardens (Southern Section) 42-7 for a 7-A title, and Palma and Mission Oak kick off at 3 p.m. in Division 4-A.

Palma wins 42-19.
Fourth Quarter:
4:45: Gonzalez connects with Achilles Sierra for a touchdown to cut the deficit to 42-19. Two-point conversion and onside kick attempts are both stopped.
5:22: Dukes' fourth touchdown run of the night extends Palma's lead to 42-13.
Third Quarter:
0:59: Nunes runs for a touchdown from five yards out to Palma up 35-13. The play was set up by a botched Mission Oak handoff in the Hawks' red zone.
5:30: Gonzalez runs two yards for a touchdown, set up by a completion from nearly midfield to Jacob Ramirez. Mission Oak still trails 28-13.
7:13: Dukes runs 42 yards for his third touchdown of the night to put Palma up 28-6.
10:38: Mission Oak gets on the board as Kenny Jackson catches a deflected pass from Daniel Gonzalez from 26 yards out. Palma's lead is cut to 21-6.
Second Quarter:
0:22: Eli Dukes rushes three yards for a touchdown. Palma leads 21-0 going into halftime.
3:33: Thomas Nunes connects with Logan Saldate for a 54-yard touchdown pass. Palma leads 14-0.
5:30: Palma ball catches a punt, starts on its own 24.
First Quarter:
4:00: Eli Dukes opens the scoring with a touchdown run for Palma. Chieftains lead 7-0.
