Look: Faith Family (Texas) beats O'Dea (Washington) in Holiday Classic opening round

Faith Family took control in the third quarter during Wednesday's win over O'Dea at the Holiday Classic

SAN DIEGO — Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy (Texas) stretched their winning streak to three games on Wednesday night, using a strong third quarter to beat O'Dea (Washington) 62-54.

Senior guard Isaac Williams was the lone member of Faith Family to reach double digits, finishing with a game-high 28 points.

Tied at 30 at halftime, Faith Family outscored O'Dea 21-13 in the third quarter and held off the Fighting Irish in the final quarter to advance in the National Division bracket. The Eagles will take on unbeaten JSerra in Thursday's quarterfinal round.

O'Dea was led by guards Breylon Webb and Brian Webster who each finished with 14 points. The Fighting Irish will begin play in the consolation bracket against Torrey Pines on Thursday morning.
