Top 25 California High School boys basketball rankings (1-16-2024)

A day after Martin Luther King events, Harvard-Westlake emerges as the top team in the Golden State while Salesian climbs all the way to No. 3.

It's showcase central around the Golden State. 

Between Monday's Marin Luther King Day events throughout California, and big extravaganza's over the next three weeks, fans might be able to see many of the top 25 boys basketball teams ranked here below. 

Across the country in Springfield, Mass. — the birthplace of basketball — the Hoophall Classic featured a handful of top California squads, while the MLK Classic at De La Salle featured many of the top NorCal programs. 

Here's a look how it all shook out rankings wise after games played Monday. Look for many of the top Southern California teams to play Saturday at Colony High in the State Preview Classic, presented by SBLive Sports.
